This is the cabin where we stayed last week. It's in a beautiful, relatively secluded place along Bear Notch road, just off the Kancamangus Highway. The road is closed in Winter!

Lots of red squirrels here, we rarely see them on the Seacoast.
Ci sono molti scoiattoli rossi qui, nella nostra zona costiera li vediamo raramente.
Not many tourists while we were there, but on 4th of July week it was all booked up. No electricity, no TV, no phone reception, no computer. Generator going around 40 minutes morning and evening.
Lovely.
Only drawbacks: water not too warm and reading by propane lamplight is a bit of a pain....
Non c'erano molti turisti durante la nostra permanenza, ma la settimana scorsa, complice la festivita' del 4 luglio, era tutto completo. Niente elettricita',niente TV, niente telefono, ne' computer. Generatore funzionante al mattino e alla sera una quarantina di minuti.
Bellisimo.
Unici inconvenienti: acqua tiepidina e leggere alla luce delle lampade a propano e' un po' difficile...
